Karen started seeing the danger long before her husband did when she realized her family had spent $600 in sushi in one month. Jeremy didn’t realize the money was gone until there was a medical and vehicle emergency in one week. That’s when it became obvious to both of them that there was a problem with how they behaved with their money and it was time to make it stop. The entries of this journal are steps they are taking to turn their misbehavior around; repentance in a way that is measurable by their actions and bank balance. They hope to inspire others who realize there’s a problem when they can’t get ahead in the wealthiest country in the world. It’s a behavior problem, not a money or rigged system problem and they are setting out to prove it.

“Get action. Do things; be sane; don’t fritter away your time; create, act, take a place wherever you are and be somebody; get action” – Theodore Roosevelt
